The 2025 Aerozone Alliance Annual Report reflects a year of clear-eyed progress in a complex and competitive environment. Like any region pursuing growth, Northeast Ohio faces real headwinds. Economic uncertainty, global competition, and rapid technological change. Yet the past year reinforced an equally important truth: when the region aligns around its tailwinds, momentum follows.
Throughout 2025, the Aerozone Alliance worked to translate the region’s strengths into action. By strengthening business engagement, advancing infrastructure readiness, and deepening connections between employers and talent, the Alliance helped reduce fragmentation and build a more coordinated aerospace, aviation, advanced manufacturing, and logistics ecosystem. Federally funded studies, new workforce tools, and expanded convenings sharpened strategy while creating practical pathways for growth.
As the Aerozone looks ahead to 2026, the focus shifts from understanding conditions to executing with urgency. With major public and private investments underway, a defined strategic plan guiding our priorities, and the 1,000 Jobs Initiative anchoring accountability, the Alliance is positioned to convert tailwinds into sustained economic lift.
This report tells the story of a region learning to navigate headwinds with intention and to harness its tailwinds with purpose. It is a snapshot of progress, a framework for action, and a signal of what becomes possible when partners move forward together.
